Freshwater Strategy Director Dr Michael Turner says UK Prime Minister Liz Truss’ policy delivery was carried out “too hard, too fast”.
He said Ms Truss’ tax cuts caught people “off guard” and there didn’t seem to be a “solid plan”.
“The fallout came not necessarily because the public thought that tax cuts were bad per se, but because the key stakeholders in society … reacted very badly to it, they weren’t informed,” Dr Turner told Sky News Australia.
